.

Originally from New England, I moved out to the San Francisco Bay Area about ten years ago. I currently live in Alameda with my cantankerous cat, Bella. I have spent the better part of the past decade working as a production artist and web designer for various companies around the Bay Area. I recently changed careers and have begun work as a prosthetist, making and fitting artificial limbs.

My artwork is done in a variety of media; both traditional and digital. These days, I've been doing most of the finished work in Photoshop or Painter, since it's much less messy and one can never underestimate the power of the undo function. The artwork, however, is always drawn in pencil or pen first on good old fashioned paper and scanned in.

Some interests, influences and things I enjoy: Dark Tranquillity, Edguy, Obituary, Prince, Neil Diamond, Old-school death metal, German Expressionism, Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast,
H.P. Lovecraft, Dickens, monster manuals, Erol Otus, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, The Wrath of Khan, Under the Cherry Moon, and Tombs of the Blind Dead.
